A portion of every one of our transactions is donated directly to this important organization as part of the Miracle Home Program.
RE/MAX is the exclusive real estate sponsor of the Children’s Miracle Network; an international non-profit organization, which consists of 170 children’s hospitals providing state-of-the-art, life-saving care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
RE/MAX Hallmark is proud to be one of the top 3 contributors to the Children’s Miracle Network of all RE/MAX organizations worldwide. Donations from us realtors and staff, directly benefit the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, also known as SickKids.
The funds raised by RE/MAX help to support specialized treatment, purchase medical equipment, assist families who need help in times of medical emergencies in addition to innovate research that helps identify new ways of diagnosing and treating illnesses.
ROUTES OF CHANGE
A donation is made to Routes of Change with each of our property transactions.
Routes of Change is a registered non-profit society based in Tofino, BC, Canada, with plans to be active throughout the planet.
The mission of Routes of Change is to use adventure and entertainment to support the unsung leaders of our planet as they work to create a healthy future for all beings.
Markus Pukonen is traveling in one consecutive journey around the world by as many motor less means as possible, including rowing, swimming, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, sailing, running, biking, skiing, skateboarding, velomobiling, walking backwards, and pogo sticking. Each leg of the route will be in partnership with a local social or environmental organization in order to build the movement towards a wiser earth.
The journey is expected to take about five years with weather and political situations largely influencing the route and timing. Markus is not planning on breaking any records, but he will likely create new ones.
